Class Teacher - Nursery

We are a two-form entry primary school - part of the Ambition Federation of School is based within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher. You will join our team under the leadership of our Executive Headteacher, Head of School and committed leadership team on our exciting journey building on our outstanding OFSTED judgement in November 2024. Cardwell is well connected with public transport, immediately adjacent to the Woolwich Dockyard station.

Midday Meals Supervisor
Hours: Monday – Friday, 11.30am – 1.30pm, term time only
Salary: Scale 2, SP 3 (£6,726 per annum after pro-rata)
Contract type: 1x fixed-term contract until August 2025
We are seeking a reliable and committed Midday Meals Supervisor to join our dedicated, supportive and hard-working Midday Meals team. You will be required to use positive behaviour strategies to support children, helping them learn through play. Successful applicants should be able to communicate well with children and be able to work as part of a team to make lunchtimes a valuable and enjoyable educational experience. Previous experience of working with children is essential. Candidates should be motivated, enthusiastic and energetic, with a willingness to undertake training as required. The post can often be physically demanding and the post holder will be required to work both in and outdoors. Henwick Primary School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requested for the successful candidate in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation.
